North Fort Myers is a census-designated place in Lee County, separated from the city of Fort Myers by the Caloosahatchee River. The community stretches along US-41 north of the river and extends eastward toward the Babcock Ranch area. It is not an incorporated municipality; governance falls to the Lee County Commission.
