Gadsden at the Foot of Lookout Mountain
Noccalula Falls drops 90 feet over a limestone ledge on the edge of Gadsden, named after a Cherokee legend about a young woman who leapt to her death rather than marry against her will. The falls sit inside a 250-acre park with botanical gardens, a pioneer village, and a miniature train that loops through the woods. The park is the most visited attraction in Etowah County.
